MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The 2022 Boomerang Awards named Tuomas Peltoniemi, Accenture Song Southeast Asia Go-to-Market & Client Services Lead, as its jury head. He will lead a group of local and international jurors for the country’s premiere digital marketing awards show this year.
Based in Singapore, Tuomas leads the growth strategy of Accenture Song — formerly Accenture Interactive — in Southeast Asia, helping clients define their innovative and transformation initiatives and embrace new growth frontiers such as the metaverse to deliver long-term business value and outcomes.
Tuomas brings more than 20 years of digital marketing, business, and technology innovation experience working with some of the world’s leading brands across financial services, automotive, travel, and consumer goods and services. Most recently, Tuomas led R/GA’s Asia-Pacific business and consulted clients on digital transformation. He has also grown TBWA’s digital and innovation practices across the region.
His reputation as an innovation and growth driver earned him several accolades, including being featured twice by Campaign Asia as 40 under 40 to watch and named Asia Pacific Digital Network Agency Head of the Year. He has served as jury president and judge for global and regional awards shows such as Cannes Lions, Effies, Spikes, Tangrams, and the WARC Prize for Innovation.

Boomerang Awards has extended its late entry submission period and will be accepting entries from companies, marketing agencies, marketing technology companies, start-ups, SMEs, as well as innovation and consulting firms until August 26. A 50% discount on late charge fees will also be given to organizations that will bulk enter 5 or more entries during the mentioned submission period.
