Elevate your social media strategy in Singapore this January

ASIA-PACIFIC, DECEMBER 2010 – The two-day Social Media Marketing conference at the Sheraton Towers Singapore on January 17 to 18, 2011 brings together the region’s digital leaders in a comprehensive program that covers the basics of social media for brands as well as case studies and best practices.
 
Day 1 starts with a session on "Deciphering the Social Media Marketing Landscape in Asia Pacific" with Bernice Klaassen, Head of Digital for the TNS (Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa) International Research Centre, TNS Global. David Lian, APAC Social Media Practice Lead of Text 100, then discusses "The Business of Social Media" with the case studies from Text 100.
 
The afternoon starts with "Brand Marketing at Intel: Social as the New Glue Holding Together Integrated Campaigns", presented by Peter Dingle, APAC Digital Marketing Manager & Social Media Lead at Intel. "Social Creativity" follows with Tribal DDB Digital Strategy Director Carlos Palacios, who will discuss viral campaigns connecting people with brands.
 
Charlie Pownall, Lead Digital Strategist, Burson-Marsteller (Asia Pacific) in the last talk for the day, focuses on leading automotive, consumer & financial services comapnies and how these handled crisis and issues. 
 
The second day begins with Leo Burnett APAC Regional Digital Director, Neil Hudspeth, who speaks on "The Role Social Media Plays in Branded Ecosystems", specifically for brands such as HP, Canon & Earth Hour. Ogilvy Public Relations Digital Influence Director Shalu Wasu shows the ins and outs of "Social Influencer Relationship Management: What Works & What Doesn’t for Your Brand", followed by Andrew Knott, Chief Digital Officer of Euro RSCG Asia Pacific, who discusses the marketer’s favorite word: Engagement.
 
SMRT Corporation’s Corporate Marketing & Communications VP Goh Chee Kong talks about how the SMRT has integrated media platforms for its communications before. Gregory Birge, Founder & CEO, F5 Digital Consulting, discusses metrics before closing out the conference.
