Euro RSCG Worldwide launches proprietary collaborative e-learning platform

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, JUNE 8, 2012: Applying its “digital at the core” philosophy to its new e-learning platform, Euro RSCG Worldwide launched its new e-learning training platform, geared toward promoting collaboration and engagement across its global network of 11,000 employees.

The platform kicks of with TrendsU, a four-module program aimed to develop Euro RSCG Worldwide employees’ understanding of the role of tools, brands, demographics, and leadership as they relate to trendspotting.

The first of four modules in TrendsU is “TU101: Introduction to the Art and Science of Identifying What’s Next”. The follow-up advanced-level courses will draw on the impact of media trends, touch on brands and consumer demography, and discuss trendspotting for strategic leaders.

This new collaborative e-learning platform and the TrendsU program help us deliver on both fronts.”

The TrendsU program will is accessible to Euro RSCG Worldwide employees through the agency’s intranet, as well as on the iPad. TrendsU participants will also be able to communicate with their professor and peers through a dynamic message feed.

She also leads the TrendsU course.
“Marketing professionals are learning the importance of trends in helping identify the forces driving the future, planning for long-term success and discovering unexpected opportunities to help transform brands and businesses. This is an exciting initiative for all of us,” Salzman added.

The e-learning platform will also apply the principles of social media and gamification to internal knowledge sharing. Following each course, there will be homework assignments that participants will complete to unlock badges and move on to the next course. These assignments will be visible to their fellow participants, not only encouraging people to put out their best work but also providing the ideal environment to encourage the cross-pollination and evolution of ideas.
