CLIO Healthcare Awards 2010 now accepting international entries

 The CLIO Healthcare Awards, an extension of the CLIO Awards for healthcare advertising and communications, is now open to international submissions. Categories include Pharmaceutical, Device & Diagnostics, Disease Awareness, Over the Counter (OTC) and Corporate Communications. Entries are further identified as either Direct to Professional (DTP) and Direct to Consumer (DTC). Deadline for submissions is on August 6, 2010. The 2010 Awards will be held in New York City in November.           

 
CLIO Healthcare, launched in the United States last year, recognizes the importance and continued growth of healthcare, which accounts for more than one-third of the U.S. gross national product. It has become one of the most visible sectors of advertising, promotion and creative design in the last few years, particularly on TV and online. However, it is traditionally subject to regulation and more stringent standards than most advertising and promotion.
 
Juries in Print/Poster/Billboard/Direct Mail, Interactive/Integrated/Innovative, Television/Film/Cinema/Radio, and Public Relations were announced last month. Executive chairpersons are Michael Schreiber, Managing Partner and Executive Creative Director, AgencyRx New York; Fabio Gratton, Chief Innovation Officer, Ignite Health Irvine; Bruce Rooke, Chief Creative Officer, GSW Worldwide New York; and Jennifer Gottlieb, Managing Director, WCG New York.
