Mark Kozlowski transfers to Asia R/GA Singapore

GLOBAL – NEW YORK, USA, APRIL 2011—R/GA has announced the move of Mark Kozlowski to its Singapore office to serve as creative director. Kozlowski will be charged with driving the office’s creative vision, in addition to mentoring and scaling the existing team to deliver world-class service to the agency’ global client roster.

Kozlowski will oversee all creative executions for R/GA’s Singapore MasterCard business and will lead the development of new digital consumer experiences for the category leader. Leveraging his deep knowledge of R/GA’s creative legacy, Mark will also play a key role in growing the existing team and securing regional talent. He will continue to report to Nick Law, EVP, chief creative officer, North America.

Kozlowski will help clients shape brand promises into brand utility, providing useful, relevant, and memorable experiences that engage users. He cites the region’s digital adolescence and connectedness as inspiration for delivering fresh thinking to the market.

He first started with R/GA New York in 2007 as an associate creative director for clients like Subaru and Johnson & Johnson. Kozlowski led creative for Nokia’s Responsiveness Project, a successful education and adoption campaign aimed at promoting the brand’s high-end product line, in addition to playing a key role creating Nokia’s Shop ‘n Shop, a branded digital retail experience that personalized sales of Nokia devices and services in third-party retail locations.

He was instrumental in growing iCrossing’s creative team during its expansion in the United States. In this role, he oversaw creative in New York and secured new business, helping to build the team from five to 15.

Kozlowski later departed R/GA in December 2009 to focus on building independent creative projects for agencies like mcgarrybowen, HUGE, and Cheil Worldwide. During this time, he designed groundbreaking digital work for brands such as Samsung, Gap, Clear Channel, and Chase.
