LONDON, ENGLAND — Following D&AD’s statement regarding the status of its festival and award shows in light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the New Blood Awards has extended its deadline to May 4, 2020 5PM GMT.

The annual New Blood Awards is an incredible opportunity for students, graduates and aspiring creatives looking to kickstart their careers in advertising and design. The global competition partners with major brands from all over the world (Audible, Burger King, LEGO, etc.) to open real client briefs that these creatives are called to solve. D&AD is asking creatives: How will your idea work in the real world?

There are currently nineteen briefs available online for different clients, each with a different set of jury members, and requirements. Participants are also encouraged to submit pitches to more than one brief, as there is no limit imposed by the D&AD team.
