MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Marvel Studios is expanding its animated universe with the much anticipated debut of Eyes of Wakanda, set to stream exclusively on Disney+ beginning August 1, 2025. First unveiled at the Annecy International Animation Festival to enthusiastic acclaim, the limited series offers an all new narrative set in the rich and mysterious world of Wakanda.
Produced in collaboration with Proximity Media’s Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, and Kalia King, Eyes of Wakanda delivers an action packed journey across time and continents. This four-episode series chronicles the untold stories of Wakandan warriors, known as the Hatut Zeraze, tasked with retrieving Vibranium artifacts scattered across the globe – often falling into the hands of those who seek to exploit its power.
At the helm of the project is director and executive producer Todd Harris, a seasoned creative force with a portfolio that spans Hollywood blockbusters, including John Wick and several Marvel Cinematic Universe entries. Harris has been a long-time collaborator of Ryan Coogler, having worked on Black Panther, Wakanda Forever, and the upcoming Sinners. His directorial vision brings a unique cinematic flair to Eyes of Wakanda, merging striking visuals with emotionally grounded storytelling.











The star studded voice cast includes Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Gary Anthony Williams, Zeke Alton, Steve Toussaint and Anika Noni Rose.
Executive producers Ryan Coogler, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt round out the team behind the series – assuring fans of Marvel’s continued commitment to high quality storytelling, even in the animated space.
