ASIA-PACIFIC – The shortlists for New Directors and Radio categories of the ADFEST are out. Mumbai and Bangkok took half of the 12 finalists with three finalists each, all in the Radio category. Tokyo has two finalists; Manila, Melbourne, Shanghai and Singapore have one finalist each.
Among the short films debuted by this year’s batch of Fabulous Four directors, Yas Shimizu’s Sleeping Man received a commentation.
