Weber Shandwick and McCann Mexico open the first World Museum of Lies for Animal Político

MEXICO — To combat disinformation, Weber Shandwick and McCann Mexico created the first “World Museum of Lies” for Animal Político, an independent Mexican media created four years ago which helps citizens to verify rumors that circulate on social networks through a “verifichat” called The Hound.

The first World Museum of Lies can be accessed here with an exhibition that denotes the fight against misinformation. Taking fake news that has circulated on social networks and with the collaboration of artists who used artificial intelligence (AI) tools, this virtual space available from any part of the world visually graphs the negative impact that this supposed news has, which can affect people’s life.
