APPIES 2012 appoints Leanne Cutts chief judge

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, MARCH 30, 2012:: Leanne Cutts, vice president for marketing at Kraft Foods Asia Pacific will preside as chief judge for Asia Pacific Marketing Congress (APPIES) 2012, which will be held Jul 26-27, 2012 at the National University of Singapore Society (NUSS).
 
Now in its third year, APPIES 2012  is slated to be one of  the leading knowledge exchange events in Asia for marketers and their partners. Organized
by the Institute of Advertising Singapore (IAS), APPIES 2012 will recognise and celebrate the best in Marketing Communications and Advertising Effectiveness from 100 of the best marketing campaigns from across the region.
 
These campaigns will be presented by their creators or brand marketers to the region’s delegates via a unique and challenging platform: A summary of the campaign’s strategy, ideas and execution in a 4-minute video, followed by a 6-minute ‘live’ disposition before rounding off the session with a 10-minute dialogue with the judging panel and audience members from the Asian marketing community.
 
“The unique 4-6-10 format of live presentations of marketing cases has proven to be very effective in facilitating lively exchanges between campaign presenters, judges and participants. With over 20 years of deep marketing and general management experience across Asia Pacific, Cuttsis currently responsible for driving the growth of gum, candy and powdered beverages categories at Kraft Foods, as well as leading consumer insights and analytics and driving marketing excellence in the region. Prior to joining Kraft Foods in July 2011, Cutts was with GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSKCH) and Unilever.
