Now that most Cannes entries should be in (barring a last-minute appeals for consideration), it’s on to the next show: the London International Awards (LIA).
The global competition has launched its site and announced its jury heads. Heading the high-profile juries of Integrated and TV/Cinema/Digital/Web/Mobile is Tham Khai Meng, Ogilvy’s Worldwide Creative Director and the first Asian to head creative at a worldwide network.
With decent showings for the country over the past few years, LIA is well worth entering for Philippine agencies. It has been getting tougher, which is why it is included in Campaign Brief’s tally for the first time this year.
Qualified work is that aired between July 1 2008 – July 31st 2009. The first entry deadline is June 19, 2009. To start preparing, check out www.liaawards.com.
