McCann Healthcare Philippines strips to the basics for Healthy Options

THE PHILIPPINES, NOVEMBER 2011: McCann Healthcare Philippines’ campaign for the health food supermarket Healthy Options has attracted attention with its approach to the concept of nutrition. Aptly titled “Pure & Natural”, the campaign alludes to Adam and Eve in paradise. 
 
Romy Sia, Healthy Options Managing Director says “As more and more people are getting interested in what they eat, I feel it’s important that we assure them that at Healthy Options there’s nothing that will be harmful to them in terms of artificial ingredients and chemical additives.”
 

 
The attractive talents show some skin as they move from the urban jungle to the Healthy Options store in the TV commercial. Other communication channels for the campaign include print, retail and digital.
 
According to Dr. VJ Yamat, McCann Healthcare Managing Director, “Who says that healthcare communications is more reserved compared to its FMCG counterpart? The science and regulatory side of healthcare may make its communication challenging, but with the potent mix of health & wellness expertise, defined consumer insighting and clever strategy, McCann Healthcare is on a creative explosion.”
 
“Pure & Natural” campaign is the sequel to the successful “Life is Beautiful” campaign, which positioned Healthy Options as a haven for high-grade all-natural products. 
 
Good-looking models go bare in seemingly untouched environments before, but the material has a pan-regional look that travels well—a good sign for a local brand with international products. We only wish that the wigs weren’t so conspicuous.
 
The commercial is directed by Martin Arnaldo for production house Unitel.
