BBDO Guerrero emerged among the night’s biggest winners at the 2026 Kidlat Awards, with “Safetynovela” securing the Grand Kidlat for Most Creative Branded Content & Entertainment and reinforcing the agency’s reputation for storytelling that resonates across both creativity and craft.
The Philippine Airlines campaign built on its Grand Kidlat triumph with Gold awards for Most Creative Branded Content & Entertainment and Outstanding Film Direction, a Silver for Most Creative Mandatory Communications, and additional Silver honors for Outstanding Production Design, Outstanding Cinematography, Outstanding Editing, Outstanding Makeup & Styling, and Outstanding Casting, alongside a Bronze in Best Digital Film Advertising.
The campaign also elevated Philippine Airlines to Client of the Year, making it one of the festival’s defining creative successes.
The campaign’s success was equally reflected in the recognition earned by its creative collaborators. Arcade, which brought “Safetynovela” to life on screen, was named Kidlat Film Production House of the Year, bolstered by its work on the campaign alongside other award-winning productions. The production company’s Marius Talampas was also honored as Advertising Film Director of the Year, while Hit Productions was recognized as Kidlat Audio Production House of the Year after winning Outstanding Sound Design and Outstanding Soundtrack or Music for “Safetynovela.”
Beyond “Safetynovela,” BBDO Guerrero continued its strong showing across the festival with a focused slate of medal-winning work. “Play No Dew” captured Gold for Most Creative Brand Recall Campaign and Silver for Most Creative Game Dev or Gamified Activation, while “Whiskas Lucky Cat” earned Silver honors for Best Merch and Most Creative Marketing Stunt.
