Asia’s performance at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2026 reflected a region finding success through different creative strengths rather than a single dominant formula. Singapore topped the regional Lions table with 24 Lions, ahead of Japan’s 12, while Thailand secured a strong third-place finish with seven Lions.
Together with India, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Indonesia, the region amassed 58 Lions – four Gold, 19 Silver and 35 Bronze – across categories spanning strategy, effectiveness, craft, entertainment and innovation.
The results also highlighted where creative excellence translated into sustained recognition. Ogilvy Singapore emerged as Asia’s most awarded agency in this tally, collecting 16 Lions across “Vaseline Verified,” “Vaseline Originals” and “Love Hurts.” Leading the field was “Vaseline Verified,” which earned Lions across Creative Business Transformation, Creative Effectiveness, Creative Strategy and Brand Experience & Activation, making it the region’s most awarded campaign in this round of winners.
Alongside Leo Singapore’s Lions for “Vaseline and the Real Nigerian Prince,” Singapore’s agencies demonstrated the value of integrated, multi-category work that continues to resonate across the Cannes Lions jury rooms.
