MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The latest edition of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines’ Agency of the Year (AOY) Awards, which was held on September 15 at The Fifth at Rockwell, Makati City, was a grand one. After all, it was only right to make a splash for the award show’s silver anniversary. On top of that, this year’s AOY was a particularly significant one for one of the big winners of the evening — Hit Productions.
Once again, the creative minds behind Hit Productions have a reason to celebrate as they graced the AOY stage to receive the Audio Production House of the Year metal. Not only is this already a huge feat in itself as the win is among the three coveted Production Excellence awards, but this also marks the production house’s 20th time bagging this trophy, making it a milestone decades in the making.
“We are immensely honored and proud to receive this 20th Audio Production House award as a recognition of our commitment to evolving and innovating in the service of agencies and brands,” shared Hit Productions President and Managing Partner Vic Icasas.
The studio is behind some of the biggest audio production projects in the country. From dubbing and localization work for international titles like Netflix originals Nimona and Stranger Things to audio production for campaigns of huge local and international brands such as Coca-Cola and McDonald’s, Hit Productions boasts of a portfolio that makes this win and its already-established status as the most awarded audio production house in the Philippines no surprise to anyone whose got their eye on the country’s creative industry.
The win is especially fitting with the AOY Awards raising a glass to the “beautiful evolution” of the industry, acknowledging the transformation and growth that Philippine advertising has experienced, since Hit Productions has been around for more than 30 years. In the decades leading to this 20th Audio Production House award, the studio has been a vital part of the fabric of audio production in the country, seeing, navigating, and thriving amidst the evolution it has undergone.
“For over three decades in the advertising industry, Hit Productions has managed to navigate countless shifts and upheavals in the transition from an analog world to digital, and now onwards to AI and beyond,” said Vic.
