Red Dot Awards is an international design competition that aims to distinguish business activities through design. Red Dot is a symbol of belongingness in design and business. Expert juries from the areas of product design, communication design, and design concepts carefully judged the participants. The winners received glamorous awards presentations, internationally distributed red dot design yearbooks, exhibitions in the red dot design museums in Germany and Singapore and touring exhibitions around the world.
The juries were Gordon Bruce, who owns a design firm and have been a design consultant for 40 years; Hideshi Hamaguchi, director of strategy at Ziba Design; mangodesign’s Andrea Finke-Anlauff; and designer and consultant, Wolfgang K. Meyer-Hayoz.
“Red Dot provides each jury member a unique opportunity to contribute to something that is greater than the whole while being part of something that is immensely engaging, educational and rewarding for all”, said Bruce.
