Mobile Asia Expo: Ushering in the new mobile era

SHANGHAI, CHINA, JUNE 4, 2012: The fast-paced evolution of mobile technologies has created a turning point in the lives of people across the world, and the way companies operate and engage their consumers. GSMA, the same organization behind the Mobile World Congress, has created the newest event to address the different facets and layers of the growing Asian mobile market with the Mobile Asia Expo.
 
Happening on June 20-22 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, the expo will feature the latest cutting-edge products, applications, and programs for the tech-savvy and industry professionals; an “App Planet” where application developers can learn and keep themselves up-to-date with the latest trends; a deal hub where buyers and service providers can conduct actual business deals; and a thought-leadership conference for senior professionals and executives, with visionary keynote speakers and several panel discussions.
 
Among the distinguished speaker roster are Olivier Puech (president, Nokia Asia Pacific), Rajeev Singh-Molares (president, Alcatel-Lucent Asia Pacific), Franco Bernabe (chairman and CEO, Telecom Italia), Peter Chou (CEO, HTC), Kaoru Kato (president and CEO-elect, NTT Docomo), and Napoleon Nazareno (president and CEO, Smart Communications).
