Six David Beckhams star in new Sky Sports TVC

GLOBAL – UNITED KINGDOM, JULY 19, 2013 – In promotion of its Premier League coverage, Sky Sports launched the television commercial ‘Meet the Beckhams.’ The ad made by Brothers and Sisters will air in London TV this Sunday.

In the spot, special effects were used to show several versions of Beckham overlapping on screen as he enjoys watching Sky Sports wherever he wants. The ad sells iewing convenience and flexibility Sky is able to give its customers through Sky HD and Sky 3D.

Throughout the 60-seconder, Beckham is seen watching Sky Sports on TV, laptop, smartphone and mobile tablet in a variety of locations including his London home, over lunch at a pie and mash shop and backstage at a TV studio.

"I was quite amazed that they were able to recreate a pie and mash shop on a film set, the attention to detail was incredible,” commented Beckham. “The ad shows how crucial Sky is to the lives of their customers at home and on the move, how people can use it no matter how busy their lives are.”

In addition to TV ad, the campaign will also run across print, outdoor, digital and through social media channels. It has been developed by agencies Brothers & Sisters and Inferno.

This includes using the power of sport to change lives through the Sky Sports Living for Sport initiative, which in collaboration with schools nationwide helps improve the lives of more than 30,000 young people each year.
