Lions launches online learning program with its first global Creative MBA

LONDON, UK — LIONS has announced the launch of its first LIONS Creative MBA (LIONS cMBA). The new digital program has been designed to educate creatives and marketers and help them understand what it takes to deliver a Lion-winning standard of creative marketing that drives impact. The LIONS cMBA will welcome its inaugural cohort this May, and all successful graduates will receive official certification from the globally-recognized LIONS brand.

Simon Cook, CEO of LIONS, said: “The LIONS cMBA was developed to address a growing global need to demonstrate the power of creativity as a driver of business and societal impact. An opportunity to democratize much-needed access to world-class learning, LIONS is uniquely placed to provide our global audience with a definitive learning program informed by over 70 years worth of Lion-winning work and insight.”

“We’ve been supporting creatives to develop their talents, expertise and confidence through our Academies at Cannes Lions for decades. The LIONS cMBA translates the magic of these in-person Academies to an online format, convening the world’s greatest creative and marketing industry legends to share their expertise with a global creative audience,” commented Jenni Middleton, Editor-in-Chief of LIONS.

Gaelle Comte, SVP LIONS Intelligence, added: “The program will include complimentary access to the LIONS Intelligence Platform, The Work, and feature live sessions with award-winning industry experts. Each cohort will also have the unique opportunity to judge Lion-winning and shortlisted work as part of a simulated Cannes Lions judging experience. The program will feature exclusive content from LIONS, including curated talks from the Cannes Lions stage, and Lion-winning work that demonstrates the techniques that shape powerful and impactful ideas.”

The LIONS cMBA will also give participants the space and support to create the most important brief of their career – the ME Brief. The ME Brief will help them structure their career goals and reflect on how to use the course’s content to help them use creativity to drive business success. After completing the program, graduates will receive official LIONS accreditation, showcasing that they have learnt from the very best and can apply those learnings to their work.

The LIONS cMBA curriculum has been designed and created by LIONS, in collaboration with the industry and Berghs School of Communication. The international school, based in Stockholm, Sweden, has 80 years of experience in creating, writing and teaching courses in the branded communications and creative field.

The inaugural cohort will run from May 20 to July 26, 2024. More information on the LIONS cMBA can be found here. Interested participants can pre-register by contacting lionslearning@canneslions.com.
