SINGAPORE – Singapore’s creative community convened recently for “The Art of Creative Leadership,” an evening of insightful discussion on personal branding, authenticity, and creative leadership presented by The One Club for Creativity and The Great Room Singapore.
Attendees engaged in thought-provoking discussions about how struggles and passions intersect to transform careers and lives. The event also reinforced The One Club for Creativity’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders, ensuring that creativity thrives in an industry that is constantly redefining itself.

“Beyond the awards, the real blueprint of a creative legacy lies in resilience and storytelling,” said Fe Husaint, Managing Director, Greenpark APAC. “The session was not only insightful but also incredibly entertaining.”

At the heart of the evening was a keynote session from Tay Guan Hin, the APAC Regional Director of The One Club. The discussion underscored that true leadership is built on resilience, authenticity, and the ability to craft a personal brand that endures long after the applause fades.
He said “True creative leadership isn’t just about winning awards, but about challenging expectations, rewriting our own narratives, and leaving a legacy for future generations. that outlives recognition.”

Maggie Michella, ACD, Ogilvy Singapore observed “The best part of the event was connecting with creatives from different generations—hearing their unique stories and backgrounds and realising how many different paths lead to this industry. It reinforced how much there is to learn from each other.”
“Personal branding for creatives struck a chord,” added Mateusz Mroszczak, Chief Creative Officer, VML. “While we spend our careers building brands for clients, we often neglect our own.”
Set against the backdrop of The Great Room’s inspiring heritage space, the venue played a pivotal role in fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and creativity.
