GURUGRAM, INDIA – Ogilvy India has formally launched its consulting arm in the country, marking a strategic expansion in its capabilities with the return of Neeraj Bassi. Effective immediately, Bassi takes charge as Head of Ogilvy Consulting India, while also assuming the role of Head of Strategic Planning for Ogilvy India (North), operating out of the agency’s Gurugram office.
This milestone move signals Ogilvy’s intent to deepen its strategic footprint in India’s evolving brand and business ecosystem. Ogilvy Consulting, the global consultancy wing of the network, addresses critical business challenges across three domains: Growth & Innovation, Business Design, and Digital Transformation. It aims to harness Ogilvy’s cross-disciplinary strengths spanning Brand Strategy, Customer Engagement & Commerce, Partnerships, and PR & Influence into a cohesive, outcome driven offering.
Over his illustrious career spanning 28 years, Neeraj has donned many hats, the last of which was as the Chief Growth Officer for Cheil X, the specialist division of Cheil SWA focusing on expanding the client portfolio across the full service offering. He has previously served as CSO at Publicis, Havas and Cheil India. Neeraj started his career in 1997 with McCann Erickson and has also done an international stint with JWT in Dubai. Neeraj’s last stint in Ogilvywas till 2015 when he was as the President – Strategic Planning for Ogilvy, Gurugram.
