MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Media Specialists Association of the Philippines (MSAP) celebrates its 10th year anniversary as an organization that binds the Philippine media industry. Founded in 2009 by formidable media leaders, MSAP has been a motivator in shaping the media industry to what it is today – world class, market innovator, business driver, experts in creating connections that count.
Guided by this year’s theme – “M Possible” or the “Media Possibilities,” it is most appropriate as it captures the understated power that the media industry has. With Media, anything is possible. The Congress aims to inspire and unlock possibilities in our delegate’s minds, to ignite creativity and innovation that deliver business results and improve the experiences of the consumers.
Held at the El Calle, Resorts World Manila on June 28, 2019, the congress gathered the movers and shakers of the local media scene — all united to welcome the highlights of the 2-day conference happening on November 5-6, 2019, where delegates will go through rigorous talks across the various disciplines of Media. What makes this year unique, is we listened to what delegates really want – from creating content to collaboration to execution and breakthrough campaigns that will deliver brand’s businesses, pave ways for Filipinos to have more access to products and ultimately improve their lives.
During the event, the organization gave an overview of the annual awarding activities that will take place in the coming months. OMD General Manager, Carla Cifra, unveiled the new and improved ICE awards which boasts an award-winning jury from both the Philippines and abroad. Moreover, the event also kicked off the announcement of this year’s Media ICONS.
Honoring the media mavens who helped shape our industry – Ms. Lisa Obispo representing Ms. Hermie De Leon, Managing Partner and CEO of Havas Media Group, announced the Media Icons Awards. The launch was also graced by Resorts World Manila President Mr. Kingson Sian and Dentsu Aegis Network CEO Mr.Donald Lim.
As it celebrates a decade of creative and credible media work, MSAP remains as a platform that showcases the fastest growing, and the most exciting media industry. Proving that now is an exciting time to be or to work in this field—from its transition into digital, the latest and innovative technology and creative campaign development. Indeed, a vehicle that displays how media has evolved through the years.
