Leo Burnett Clinches Holcim Business

PT Leo Burnett Kreasindo secured the PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk strategic and creative business partner, following competitive pitching with over 10 agencies, including incumbent Y&R, McCann Erickson and Indonesian-based AdCity who were in the final shoot-out.

Holcim is a leading global supplier of home building materials like cement, aggregates (crushed stone, gravel and sand), ready-mix concrete and asphalt. It is committed to sustainable development and adopts “Solusi Rumah”, a one-stop approach to provide affordable and better quality housing, making Holcim apart from its competitors.   

Winning the pitch, Leo Burnett is tasked to develop a fully-integrated communications programme to strengthen the Holcim brand amongst home owners across different social economic groups, and key influencers such as retailers, contractors and masons. The agency also undertakes rolling out the unique market initiative of “Solusi Rumah” to further strengthen the brand value of Holcim.

Incumbent Y&R will continue to serve Holcim until its contract expires this year. Leo Burnett will develop the launch campaign for Solusi Rumah and begins the brand campaign for Holcim in 2009.
