ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, APRIL 2011 – Havas Media digital agency, Media Contacts, has announced three appointments for its Singapore office. Siddharth Surana and Ricky Mohan have been promoted to regional roles. The agency has also hired Jan Mikael David as a Senior Digital Manager.
Siddharth has been promoted to the role of Director of Search and Social, while Ricky takes on role of Director of Technology and Creative Services.
Siddharth joined Media Contacts Singapore in 2010 as a senior digital consultant from Reap Interactive. In his 10 years in the digital industry, Siddharth has worked with multiple digital agencies including Pinstorm. He has previously spent two years as a business director with Media Contacts India where he worked on the online business of brands like Capgemini, Geojit BNP Paribas, Emirates, Air France and Dell.
In his new role, Siddharth will be responsible for expanding the Earned Media offering across South and South East Asia with particular emphasis on SEO and Social Media.
Meanwhile, Ricky will be responsible for enhancing Media Contacts offering in the technology and creative services like website building, custom analytics, landing page optimisation and application development.
Ricky has been with Media Contacts since 2009. He has seven years of experience in the digital space and joined Media Contacts from People Interactive, where he was the project leader for premier wedding portal Shaadi.com.
In addition to the two promotions, Media Contacts Singapore has also appointed Jan Mikael David as a Senior Digital Manager. Mikael joins the agency from Reap Interactive where he was a senior account manager. He started his career as a marketing executive with Wyeth (now a part of Pfizer) and has five years of experience in digital marketing. In his current role he will work on enhancing the owned media service offering with Ricky.
