AMSTERDAM – November 29, 2013 – Launched on November 21, the short film Official ADE Aftermovie captures the essence of five days of unique locations, music enthusiasts, and of course, parties at Amsterdam Dance Event.
ADE attracts 300,000 visitors from 75 different countries, with 2,156 artists at a grand total of 450 events, taking place in 80 clubs & venues all over Amsterdam. Buma Music was the only company allowed to access all areas on every stage at every event, The Ambassadors said in a press release.
International creative production company The Ambassadors was approached by Buma Music and tasked with creating a short film which would bring to life all elements of the festival. The objective of the film was to maintain the focus and credibility of ADE and give viewers the experiences of being part of one of the biggest international club festivals in the world.
The Ambassadors team watched over 40 hours of footage to discover the most outstanding aspects of each event, combining these with interviews from DJs such as Richie Hawtin, DJ Sneak, Tiesto, Danny Teneglia and Hardwell.
The film, directed by Sander van Driel, was completed within a four day deadline and The Ambassadors handled the edit, grading and sound design. The project was led by The Ambassadors’ young talent Oscar Marmelstein, 28.
Oscar Marmelstein, Editor, commented, “I’m a DJ myself in my spare time so I can truly understand and appreciate this scene. I wanted to show people that ADE is not just about the big parties, it is also a chance for the international music industry to come together, listen to inspiring talks and share experiences.
“It doesn’t matter if you’re a small business, big record label, a DJ or an individual that loves music, everyone joins in and everything’s possible. I wanted this to be my personal invite for people to come and experience ADE for themselves.”
