AK Kim promoted to Euro RSCG Next Korea Managing Director

SEOUL, KOREA – JULY 7, 2011 – Euro RSCG today announced that AK Kim has been promoted to Managing Director of Euro RSCG Next Korea, reporting to Asia Pacific Chairman, Juan Rocamora. 
 
Kim is a long-term Euro RSCG employee, first joining the agency in 1995, moving up the ranks and over the years overseeing key accounts such as Reckitt Benckiser, Jaguar LandRover, Intel, Air France and American Standard. Prior to this, she served as Managing Partner for the agency.
 
At the same time, Japan Senior Corporate Advisor, Kimihito Okubo, will be expanding his scope to serve as Representative Director of Euro RSCG Next Korea, and will support Kim on Korea growth opportunities, focusing on cross-border growth between the two markets.
 
“AK brings a real energy to the role and has a great rapport with our key clients as well as staff. This move is a natural progression and together with Kimy, I’m confident they can deliver on cross-border growth,” said Rocamora. 
 
The announcement is effective immediately, and the move comes as former CEO Scott Rhee exits the agency as .
 
Euro RSCG Next Korea is a fully integrated agency, which also includes a robust healthcare business. Out of the office in Seoul, Euro RSCG handles a range of clients, including Korea Telecom, Reckitt Benckiser, Omega, sanofi-aventis and Volvo among others.
