Publicis Hong Kong brings in new Planning Director

ASIA-PACIFIC – HONG KONG, MAY 30, 2011 – Publicis Hong Kong has appointed Eva Ng as Planning Director to bolster insights and strategy at both Publicis and Publicis Modem.
 
“With Eva’s strong track record on blue chip clients in Hong Kong and the region, she will lead the insights and strategy team. Eva’s traditional planning background is combined with depth in digital and an entrepreneurial flair that will bring innovation in our communications solutions for clients. Given our strengths in digital integration, Eva is perfect for the role,” noted Sue McCusker, General Manager of Publicis Hong Kong.
 
Eva describes herself as ‘on a mission to decode the hearts and minds of people in Hong Kong and China to build brands the Asian way’. 
 
Her passion for brands and advertising began 13 years ago in Sydney, where she worked on connecting Australian consumers to brands such as Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, Milo and Streets Ice-creams.
 
Her Hong Kong, China and Asian experience started at Saatchi & Saatchi, then DDB and BBDO before joining Publicis Hong Kong. Since being in the region, she has worked on several P&G brands, 7-Eleven, Smartone, Dragonair, Philips, McDonalds, Watsons, and Wrigley to name a few. Eva’s communications strategies have been behind several award winning campaigns that have been recognized for strategy at international award shows such as AMEs.
