Freedom Post video artists on the loose

Launched at the end of January, at their new office at La Paz Centre, Freedom Post slipped silently into the trade, but not without well-known well-wishers.  Sister company of Digitracks, Freedom Post is the new baby of sister-business partners Chris and Carol Daez.

“We met friends who are good video artists, but they didn’t have a production house.  Because Digitracks produced audio, we thought of creating a house for the artists,” reveals Chris Daez, co-owner of Freedom Post.

Digitracks is already mired in the industry since its launch in 1996, its clients include McCann, Y&R, DDB, BBDO-G, JWT, and Campaigns & Grey, Grupo Sorbetero, to name a few.

Its guest of honor, Philippine cinema veteran, Peque Gallaga, is a regular at Digitracks, and welcomed its counterpart Freedom Posts video artists.  “As a new artist, I know what I want, but I don’t know how to create it.  As young artists, you will listen to me, and I will listen to you because you guys know (how to do it).  If we listen to each other we will create art,” Gallaga addressed the enraptured audience.

“Never mind art, let us create exciting things!,” the award-winning director exclaimed.
