
The most effective marketing works in the Asia Pacific region were awarded at the 2026 APAC Effie Awards Gala in Singapore, where marketers convened for a night of celebration.
Of the 121 finalists, 67 were announced as metal winners – 1 Grand Effie, 15 Golds, 20 Silvers, and 31 Bronzes.
Special Sydney won the coveted Grand Effie or Best-in-Show alongside their client Uber for “Get Almost Almost Anything”, which endeared itself to judges for its witty, highly adaptable, and effective brand platform that repositioned Uber Eats as a service that delivers more than just restaurant food.
Special Sydney was also awarded a Gold for “Get Almost Almost Anything Maybe even Andy”. Their accumulated wins delivered them the trophies for both Independent Agency of the Year and Agency of the Year – a first for the Sydney-based agency.
Leo ends a 7-year streak to clinch Agency Network of the Year for the first time in APAC Effie history. Grab wins the most Special Awards of the night including Brand of the Year, Marketer of the Year, and third place for Agency of the Year.
