Esther Wong is now TBWAGreater China group creative director

ASIA-PACIFIC – HONG KONG, FEBRUARY 6, 2012: TBWA\Greater China today announced the
promotion of Esther Wong to group creative director in recognition of her creative
contribution to the region.
 
Wong, who first joined as group creative director for TBWA\Hong Kong in 2005, brings
a wealth of knowledge and expertise from her ongoing work with Standard Chartered
Bank Hong Kong as well as leading Levi’s award winning campaigns for Hong Kong and
China. Most recently Wong has achieved notable success with her contribution to new
business wins including Wyeth Gold Greater China as well as AIA regionally.
 
Over the last eight years at TBWA, Wong has been at the forefront of many
award-winning campaigns for both marketing effectiveness and creative impact
featuring at Spikes Asia, Adfest, LongXi International Chinese Advertising Awards,
Hong Kong KamFan as well as the Effies.
 
“Esther is a force to be reckoned with… her natural ability for creative thinking
and rapport with clients make her a stand out talent in our business,” said Edmund

Wong, who will continue to be based in Hong Kong, cut her creative teeth at Saatchi
& Saatchi Greater China in 1994 where she had early exposure to multinational
clients and spent the next few years working between Mainland China and Hong Kong,
handling brands such as Oil of Olay, Head & Shoulders, Hewlett Packard and Robust,
before joining TBWA.
