hub+ joins BBDO Singapore’s Hard Drive to form hub+ Singapore

ASIA-PACIFIC, SINGAPORE, FEBRUARY 1, 2012: hub+, an Omnicom company, specializing in global production and implementation, has joined with Hard Drive to open an Asian hub in Singapore. The new entity, to be called hub+ Singapore, will join the existing hub+network already providing clients with global solutions to localise, implement and amplify creative ideas.
 
The launch enables the agency to meet with growing client demand in Asia and will offer a full range of services for the adaption of master creative materials, including TV, press, OOH and online.  It will also provide design services previously carried out by Hard Drive, specializing in low cost, fast turnaround below-the-line work for local, regional and global clients. 
 
“We are thrilled to be establishing an Asian hub in Singapore and are incredibly excited by the prospect of helping global, regional and local brands improve the efficiency and economy of their communications implementation and production," said Simon Toaldo, CEO of hub+ Worldwide.
 
Hard Drive general manager Esther Yue will lead the hub+ Singapore team continuing in her role as general manager after successfully spearheading Hard Drive from its inception in 2009.  
 
"hub+ leads the field in production technology and their application to innovative ideas. The new business will retain the mission to drive value for clients, by using the most up to date technologies that drive efficiencies," said Jean-Paul Burge, southeast asia president of BBDO.
 
hub+ was established in London in 2006 and has offices in the US, UK, Germany and Australia. Their clients include P&G, Mercedes-Benz, O2/Telefonica, Renault/Nissan and Barclays Bank/Barclaycard. 
 
Established in 2009, Hard Drive’s clients include SingTel, Blackberry and HP.
