BANGKOK, THAILAND – KFC Thailand has once again demonstrated its cultural relevance and creative prowess with a viral campaign that’s winning hearts across the nation and the internet. In an inspired collaboration with Butterbear, the brand has introduced “Nong Noey,” the adorable, idol-like character affectionately dubbed the Daughter of KFC Thailand. With her iconic fried chicken like hands, Nong Noey is captivating fans.

The campaign took flight when fans endearingly called “Mum-Mhees” began to notice Nong Noey’s cartoonishly crispy hands, drawing comparisons to KFC’s signature fried chicken wings. What began as a playful joke quickly evolved into a full fledged meme with creative fan content and sparking a wave of engagement. In true KFC style, the brand embraced the moment with humor and flair, transforming this viral sensation into a fully realized campaign, complete with collectible packaging, limited edition merchandise and a nationwide celebration.

Nong Noey, brought to life through the charm of Butterbear’s storytelling and design, is portrayed as the beloved daughter of Colonel Sanders himself, under the caring eye of “Dad Bear.” Her cheerful, quirky personality mirrors the fun-loving identity of KFC Thailand, making her the perfect ambassador for a campaign centered on joy, community, and of course, finger-lickin’ good chicken.
From May 30 to June 25, 2025, KFC fans can participate in the “KFC x Butterbear” campaign by collecting exclusive items and experiencing the cuteness of Nong Noey firsthand. Highlights include:
- Porjai Bucket Meal Set (199 Baht): Comes with a limited-edition KFC | Butterbear bucket and red sticker version.
- The Box Menus: Every purchase includes a collectible KFC | Butterbear box.
- Imm Kuum 2 Meal Set (99 Baht): Includes the white version of the exclusive sticker.

Beyond the collectible packaging and meal promotions, KFC Thailand has created immersive brand moments bring Nong Noey’s world to life. The centerpiece of the campaign is a 4.5-meter-tall Nong Noey figure in a giant KFC bucket, displayed at Emsphere’s front courtyard from May 30 to June 5.
