E! launches on SkyCable

PHILIPPINES – JULY 6, 2011 – Universal Networks International (UNI) has officially announced that E! Entertainment Television, the Hollywood entertainment and celebrity lifestyle channel will now be available in the Philippines through a carriage agreement with SkyCable, the leading pay TV provider in the country. E!’s exciting content will now be consolidated in one place, initially available to SkyCable Gold and Silver digital subscribers.

The E! Angel serves up champagne ala A-List at the E! launch party at The Establishment

 
The Philippine E! channel will offer first-run and exclusive programming aimed primarily at females in the 18-49 age group, including: E! News, E! News Asia, Live From The Red Carpet, Fashion Police, Keeping Up with the Kardashians (from Season Six onwards) Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Khloe & Lamar, The Dance Scene and many others. 
 
While primarily geared towards female audiences, E! remains confident that the channel can  attract a good chunk of male audiences with its roster of female celebs. Fellows also revealed that the E!Online website rakes in the most number of viewers from the Philippines – second only to the U.S.

E! debuts in the Philippines on Channel 57, July 12. This  makes the channel available to almost 16 million households in Asia.
