Brand & Business: KUMU and Unilever team up to help face the new normal with confidence

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – As people come to terms with new normal practices, the country’s fastest-growing social media app KUMU continues to do its part in creating essential conveniences for its users by tying up with service and commercial companies via its e-commerce platform. After featuring Unilever’s top-selling hair care items on July 9, more of the brand’s trusted products are soon to be available on Karlito’s Korner live airing every Monday to Friday at 6 p.m.

Kumunizens also caught Doc Miles on Thursday, July 16, as she featured more Unilever products including Rexona variants Power Dry for women (for more fragrance and confidence), and Ice Cool for men (for 48-hour anti-sweat protection). During the show, users were encouraged to join lively discussions about how to get ready for when everything comes back to normal and step out all confident and well-groomed with the help of Rexona.

Unilever will return on Karlito’s Korner on July 23 to feature more of its best-selling brands in Surf Wais #TeamBahayHacks, which focuses on DIY home tips and tricks on managing laundry, homeschooling, and online shopping among others. Perfect for stay-at-home moms everywhere, the show intends to make house chores easier during the new normal phase. Several giveaways are also up for grabs during the show courtesy of Unilever.

Meanwhile, KUMU host streamers have already pushed for girl power during the initial Unilever-featured shows amidst ongoing implementations of the modified general community quarantine guidelines wherein most people are still unsure about going out for a run to the nearest supermarket.

“It’s a way to tell all us girls that we are all in this together and that the current challenges shouldn’t prevent us from our hairkada to bond and do some ‘kulitan’,” said Gelli Cruz who hosted the June 25 show, which also featured various trendy hairstyles for Kumunizens to check out along with featured Unilever products Vitakeratin expert salon treatment and deep repair, and Sunsilk hair care items.

“KUMU and Unilever believes that staying at home in quarantine shouldn’t stop us from looking our best,” encouraged @issatee who hosted Karlito’s Korner on July 9, giving some good hair day tips throughout the show using Creamsilk conditioner for women’s full beauty potential. “Feeling good starts with looking good so just #StayInStandOut with Creamsilk everyday,” she suggests.
