MANILA – November 15, 2013 – To contribute to the Yolanda relief efforts, SM Cares has set up donation booths in all SM Supermalls in Metro Manila, South Luzon and Visayas for the benefit of the victims of the super typhoon, which devastated the Visayas last weekend.
The call for donations was made in a touching 30-second TVC, which shows volunteers organising relief goods. The boxes are arranged to form a face, at first blank, and then with a smile. The ad closes with the message, "Let’s give the typhoon victims a reason to smile again."
Those who wish to donate cash, medicines, blankets, clothing and/or canned goods may bring these to the Operation Tulong Express booths stationed at the malls. All proceeds will be turned over to Caritas Philippines.
