MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Japan’s leading footwear retailer, ABC-MART, is poised to open its highly anticipated flagship store in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Fall 2025. This development marks a significant milestone in the brand’s Southeast Asian expansion and will offer Filipino consumers a fresh, immersive retail experience featuring globally renowned footwear labels and exclusive releases.

The launch comes through a strategic joint venture between SONAK Retail Group and ABC-MART Japan, signaling a formidable partnership aimed at transforming the landscape of sneaker and streetwear retail in the Philippines. The announcement was made by key executives, including Koji Higashimae, CEO of ABC-MART SONAK Philippines; Kiichiro Hattori, Senior Vice President of ABC-MART Japan; Anil Buxani, CEO of SONAK Retail Group; and Kabir Buxani, Incoming CEO and Director of SONAK Retail Group.

The BGC flagship will introduce two of ABC-MART’s retail formats: ABC-MART Grand Stage and ABC-MART Standard. While the Standard Concept Store will cater to a broad range of footwear need, offering collections for everyday use and casual wear. The Grand Stage is envisioned as a premium destination for sneaker enthusiasts and style aficionados.

Spanning over 750 square meters across two floors, the Grand Stage will feature a carefully curated assortment of top footwear brands, including Nike, Adidas, ASICS, Puma, New Balance, Skechers, Timberland, Vans, Crocs, Salomon and more. The store will also carry limited edition and exclusive drops, making it a go to venue for collectors and streetwear devotees.
