Campaigns & Grey Philippines Creates Campaigns for Drilon and Recto

The official campaign period has begun and the media campaigns are off and running! 
 
And when most creative agencies are mum or choose to distance themselves from the political campaigns they were involved in, it’s refreshing to see Campaigns and Grey not afraid to be associated with their candidates
 
For former Senate President Franklin Drilon, who is running for the senate once again, the challenge was to make the younger generation aware of him and his achievements, since research showed that first time voters were not familiar with him. So instead of focusing on promises , the campaign was centered on his past achievements to show that he is actually capable of delivering results. His campaign hinges on justice for all, being known for his stint as the Justice Secretary who put away big fish criminals. Hence, the campaign slogan “Big Justice, Mahirap Man o Mayaman” (Big Justice, Rich or Poor). His three TVCs is also supported by radio and online efforts

Senatorial candidate Ralph Recto is probably more famous for being the husband of Batangas Governor and famous actress Vilma Santos and the stepfather of actor and television host Luis Manzano. And his campaign capitalizes equally on his “star power” family, as well as his “commitment to good governance and sound fiscal management”, which he believes will bring improvement to the lives of Filipino families across the country. The TVC is entitled “Pandesal”, a bread staple that every Filipino can relate to. In stark contrast to the images of poverty and catchy jingles bombarding our TVs, the ad is a simple discussion over a family meal, explaining corruption and poverty by using the pandesal as a metaphor
 

In the meantime, Campaigns and Grey are taking a break from their most controversial political client yet, the Noynoy-Mar campaign since chairman Yoly Ong is out of the country.
