Adboard helps flood victims

MANILA, SEPTEMBER 2, 2013 – A week ago, the Advertising Board of the Philippines (AdBoard) and members of the marketing communications industry organized a relief operation drive that benefited flood-stricken families in Pasay.

Members of the AdBoard personally gave relief goods to 600 families  who were affected by the recent southwest monsoon and typhoon Maring. The city was one of the many areas in the metro declared to be in a state of calamity where nearly 200 barangays were under water. The drive was headed by chairman Nonoy Niles, along with the heads of its member-associations.The donations were given through San Roque Parish in Cabrera, Pasay City under Rev. Fr. Paschal Ma. R. Gorgoña.
 
The AdBoard is again seeking support for this social awareness project as it prepares for the second relief operations in Laguna.
