ASIA-PACIFIC – SEPTEMBER 15, 2011: Dirk Eschenbacher, executive creative director for Integration at DDB Guoan has launched of a free iPad app he developed with the Organization for Enneagram Studies in Hong Kong and Mobile Now in Shanghai.
Last year, Eschenbacher announced that he will lie low for a few years to pursue his doctorate at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. He was previously ECD and managing partner for Asia Pacific at Tribal DDB.
The eType app is a fun personality test based on a system of cards. It can be played by an individual or in tandem to show what people have in common and how they can overcome difficulties in relationships.
Instead of repetitive multiple choice questions, eType makes testing fun and achieved over 85% accuracy in empirical tests. It remembers results and allows users to review these results and suggests ways for people to get along better.
