New changes to judging as the LongXi Awards turns 11

Exhibiting recession-proof qualities, the 2009 LongXi Worldwide Chinese Language Advertising Awards happens from November 28 to 30 at the Journalism School of Shanghai Fu Dan University.  The University also serves as the venue for the juding and forum during the three-day event.  The LongXi is open to advertising community and students.  And best of all, it is free of charge.

Founded by the four ethnic Chinese creative veterans Jimmy Lam, Tomaz Mok, David Sun and Peter Soh 11 years ago, the LongXi Awards is the only Chinese language creative awards included in the GUNN Report, Shots Grand Prix and The BIG ONE annual global creative ranking for conventional and new media creative works.

Unlike the previous LongXi Awards, all four main categories will undergo simultaneous judging. The four categories are:  the Grand Awards”for the best Chinese advertising creative ideas and executions in the conventional media (TV, Radio, Press & Poster, Outdoor); the Catch Awards to set new standard on new media creativity; the Design Awards to recognize design excellence nourished from Chinese culture; and the NOVA Awards to embrace talented young creative people.
