Ad Stars 2012 calls for entries and names judges

ASIA-PACIFIC – SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, APRIL 25, 2012: Ad Stars 2012, Busan International Advertising Festival, calls for entries until May 15. Expecting approximately 8,000 entries from 50 countries this year, submission of entries will have no corresponding fee. 
 
Professionals, amateurs, and students can submit their entries via their website. New for this year’s awards are the additional categories. Entertainment; Innovative, Diverse Insights, Effectiveness, Media, and Presentation categories have been added. Mobile, PR, and Design have also been added based on the type of media. 
 
Twenty-four judges will be named for final judging and nearly 150 judges will be selected for the preliminary judging. For now, 18 judges for the final judging panel have been appointed:

Prizes include two grand prix winners will awarded with $20,000 cash prize. Each Grand Prix winner from Product & Service and PSA category will be awarded 10,000 USD.  
 
Ad Stars 2012’s final competition will be held at BEXCO near the beautiful Haeundae beach in Busan on August 23-25. 
 
In a seminar titled ‘Digital Humanism’, famous speakers in the global creative communications industries, like Jonathan Mildenhall, VP of Global advertising strategy and creative excellence, Coca-Cola, will provide a lecture on advertising, marketing, and design to name a few.
