Design: adidas and local artist Quiccs drop fresh new designs for the summer

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Following the successful launch of the first Filipino-created adidas product range with the Quiccs Manila Tee last year, adidas Philippines and renowned toy designer and visual artist Quiccs are collaborating once again for the adidas Quiccs Summer Pack, featuring new shirt designs for the summer.

For the Summer Pack drop, Quiccs also ensured his passion for basketball was not amiss. “For this year, our campaign is with the basketball category. We just adjusted and animated TEQ63 to the sport, which I am also a huge fan of. Filipinos are huge enthusiasts of basketball, so this is truly enjoyable for me,” he shares.

Coming in two main designs, the Quiccs Summer Pack is available in black and white, with both shirts paying homage to basketball culture and referencing the artist’s best-selling character TEQ63 who’s sporting adidas apparel and footwear.

The Summer Pack tees are the newest designs in Quiccs’ collaboration with adidas, which started in 2020 with the local artist’s Superstar campaign. As a long-time fan of the brand, Quiccs notes that the excitement he gets from having a collaboration with adidas is the fuel that keeps him inspired when creating new designs.

“Just the partnership is a dream come true. I will always be taking this chance of a lifetime as an inspiration to give my best at all times to adidas,” says Quiccs.

Perfect for those who want to up their game in the court, the Quiccs Summer Pack is complemented by the release of seven Harden Vol. 5 Futurenatural sneakers and Harden NXT shorts.

“At adidas Philippines, we are always aiming to inspire not just the next generations of athletes, but also up and coming local artists. We want to keep coming up with designs that not only drive purpose and positive change, but encourage individuals to be proud of their roots. And with his love for basketball and passion for art, this makes Quiccs the perfect collaborator to see that vision come to life. We are excited to see the continuation of our long-term partnership with him, and we look forward to seeing where it will continue to take us in the future,” said Jen Dacasin, adidas Philippines Brand Activation Manager.

The Quiccs Summer Pack tees launched on May 1 and are now available in select adidas stores, adidas.com.ph, and the adidas Viber store. For more information, you may follow adidas Philippines on Facebook and Instagram.
