Philippines bag metals at 10th Stevie Awards

MANILA, AUGUST 19, 2013-GreenBulb PR, Cebuana Lhullier, GeiserMaclang Marketing Communications, Harrison Communications, Globe Telecom and Philip Morris Philippines are accepting awards at the 10th Annual Stevie Awards, to be formally announced on October 14 at Barcelona, Spain.

GreenBulb Public Relations scooped their first international recognition for PR at the International Business Awards, known as Stevie Awards under the Communications and PR awards. The Colgate-Palmolive Philippines’ launch of ‘Colgate Optic White’ netted metals in the two categories including PR Campaign of the Year-Marketing Consumer Products (Asia) and PR Campaign of the Year for Social Media- Focused (other regions outside Europe).

“Our approach with all our campaigns and with all the local and global brands we handle is simple: maximizing various communications platforms to create the most engaging impact. Bagging the Silver award for PR Campaign of the Year-Marketing Consumer Products (Asia) is Cebuana Lhullier’s 2012 ‘Search for the Happiest Pinoy’. The project as lead by Chairman Philippe Lhullier for the company’s Insurance Solutions (CLIS) aims to revive the values of optimism, resilience and hope in Filipinos amidst the global economic crisis. Chief executive officer and president Jean Henri Lhuiller won Gold for Executive of the Year in Diversified Services and Financial Services.

In the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year in Asia category, Philip Morris Philippines Manufacturing, Inc,(PMFTC)  was awarded  with Silver for Proficient Measures for Quality Education (PMQE) Year 2012 and a Bronze for Saving the Philippine Forest: A Reforestation and Coop Organizing Initiative. Bronze was received by Globe Telecom for the Globe My Fair Share Program and  Philip Morris Philippines Manufacturing, Inc (PMFTC) for their project, Saving the Philippine Forest: A Reforestation and Coop Organizing Initiative.

GeiserMaclang Marketing Communications has been a winner for three straight years in a row for PR Campaign of the Year-Marketing Consumer Products (Asia) category. Their Alaxan FR’s ‘Galing Mo! Basketball Camp’ s campaign won Bronze this year.

Harrison Communications won the new category this year bagging Silver award for Best Public Relations event and Gold for Campaign of the Year – Telecommunications for their campaign, Philippines: Marked for Greatness.
