GLOBAL – UNITED STATES, AUGUST 27, 2013 – Casual dining restaurant and bar T.G.I. Friday’s has given its logo a sleeker and more modern look, along with the launch of its new URL: NewFridays.com.
Designed by Edinburgh-based Teviot Creative, the new identity dropped the punctuations in its name — from ‘T.G.I. Friday’s’ to “TGI Fridays.’ It retained its bold red-and-white diagonal stripes but now forms a rectangular border.
The US restaurant chain has also redecorated the interior of its restaurants, giving it a refreshing look to make the dining experience more comfortable. Customers will feel less like being in the worst episode of Antiques Roadshow; and into where they would not bother sitting down while enjoying pieces of meat smothered in Jack Daniel’s sauces, along with oversized alcoholic drinks.

‘In here, it’s a whole new Fridays’ sign inside the restaurant compliments the new identity TGI Fridays has in store for its customers.
