WhybinTBWA recreates 4×4 track based on Beethoven’s Ninth

ASIA-PACIFIC – AUSTRALIA, JANUARY 18, 2013 – To launch the first all-new Nissan Patrol in 15 years, Whybin\TBWA Group Melbourne and Nissan Australia set out to create a 4×4 track to match the powerful and refined nature of the all-new Nissan Patrol.

In a world first, the track was built from a classical musical composition’s sound wave. This sound wave belonged to none other than Beethoven’s Ninth.

The track, created by internationally renowned track builder, Renato Loberto, was conquered by one of Australia’s most experienced 4×4 experts, Pat Callinan. Whybin\TBWA’s ‘Patrol vs. Beethoven’ campaign sets out to not only show off the refined nature of the all-new Patrol, but also demonstrate this luxurious all-new model remains one of the most powerful, capable and technologically advanced off-roaders on the planet.

The campaign went live Saturday January 12, with targeted banner advertising including a YouTube masthead.
