On Nov. 21, a cluster of new media agency and client representatives spent an unusual Friday afternoon offline. Yahoo! Philippines’ Day Out welcomed monitor-blinded, deskbound reps of ADMAX, EGG, eTelecare, Havoc Digital, Maxus, Mindshare, Proximity and Samsung. Attendees were split into four teams, for a tri-event competition of lasergun shooting, indoor rock climbing and margarita mixing. While the tequila did not get the adobo magazine judges drunk, it did give rise to an impromptu Yahoo yodel-off. That, or somebody laced the fudge.
