Ogilvy Taipei, McCann Shanghai score multiple shortlist spots at the 2026 Cannes Lions Entertainment, Gaming, Music, and Sports Lions

Asia continues to build momentum at the 2026 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, with agencies from Mainland China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and the United Kingdom/Singapore earning shortlist placements across the Entertainment, Entertainment Lions for Gaming, Entertainment Lions for Music, and Entertainment Lions for Sport categories.

Ogilvy Taipei emerged as the region’s strongest performer, securing two shortlist spots with “The Switch Hit” for Mikkeller & Ugly Half Beer. The campaign was recognized in both Sports Live Experience and Social Behaviour, making it the only Asian work to earn multiple shortlist appearances across the four Entertainment-related Lions announced.

Japan followed with four shortlisted campaigns across the Entertainment categories while Mainland China added two more shortlist appearances through McCann Shanghai and TBWA\Media Arts Lab Shanghai
