PHILIPPINES, MAY 4, 2011 – As Day 3 of the Kidlat Festival 2011 winded down at the Boracay Regency and attendees proceeded to cocktails, the Creative Guild held their election of board members for 2011-2012. Golda Roldan, client service director of Blackpencil, led the election process.
Twelve names were initially nominated, of which nine were voted in: Leo Burnett Manila’s Alvin Tecson, BBDO/Proximity Philippines’ Brandie Tan, TBWA\ Santiago Mangada Puno’s Bryan Siy, Publicis JimenezBasic’s Lawin Bulatao, Rocket Science’s Manny del Rosario, DDB Philippines’ Joey Ong, DM9 JaymeSyfu’s Louie Sotto, Y&R Philippines’ Jay Santiago, and Blue Bottle’s Mio Chiongson. As Chongson and Sotto declined their seats, the final board and officers are as follows:
Manny Del Rosario (Rocket Science), president; Lawin Bulatao (Publicis JimenezBasic), vice president; Andrew Petch (Ace Saatchi & Saatchi), secretary; Brandie Tan (BBDO Guerrero); Bryan Siy (TBWA\ Santiago Mangada Puno); Alvin Tecson (Leo Burnett Manila), competition director; Joey Ong (DDB Philippines), director for Young Creative; Jay Santiago (Y&R Philippines), director for Industry; Leigh Reyes (Lowe Philippines), director for Communications.
