Asian Marketing Effectiveness Festival opens on May 12

ASIA-PACIFIC – MAY 10, 2011 – The Asian Marketing Effectiveness Festival is set to open this Thursday in Shanghai, offering delegates an extensive and topical two-day content programme followed by an Awards Gala Dinner which will unveil and celebrate this year’s chosen winners.
 
The full shortlist chosen from the 858 entries is now available to view and download from the Asian Marketing Effectiveness website. Chaired by Bob O’Leary, Head of Global Marketing for Citi, the 36 jury members will re-convene in Shanghai on May 11 to continue their judging. The Awards Ceremony Gala Dinner will take place on Friday, May 13.
 
Ongoing throughout the two days is an inspirational programme of seminars which has been put together by a dedicated content committee led by Charles Wigley, Chairman of BBH Asia. Focusing on this year’s theme of ‘unpacking effectiveness’, speakers include: Rory Sutherland, Vice-Chairman of Ogilvy Group UK; Chuck Brymer, President and CEO of DDB Worldwide; Christopher Graves, Global CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide; Aiyong, Director of Strategy, Sina; Pully Chau, Chairman & CEO of Draftfcb Greater China; Tim Broadbent, Global Effectiveness Director for Ogilvy & Mather Beijing; Dave McCaughan, Director of Strategic Planning Asia Pacific for McCann Worldgroup and many more.
