The APPIES 2011: Make love, not bad campaigns

ASIA-PACIFIC – MAY 2011 – Is your marketing campaign born out of true love, not a one-night stand? Great campaigns need commitment, mutual respect and care for brands on both the client and agency side. If you are confident that your campaign ranks among the region’s best, submit it to the APPIES, the Asia Pacific Marketing Congress. The APPIES 2011 will take place on July 28 to 29 at the NUS Society Kent Ridge Guild House, Singapore.

The APPIES Advisory Council will select 100 of the region’s most effective marketing campaigns to be presented by their creators. This year’s council is made up of Goh Shu Fen, co-founder and principal, R3 Asia Pacific; Ai June Schult, VP and marketing head, Southeast and South Asia, MasterCard Worldwide; Huang Cheng Eng, former EVP for Marketing and the Regions, Singapore Airlines; Francesco Lagutaine, CMO, Asia Pacific, Citigroup; Loren Schuster, VP, Consumer Marketing, Singtel; Shakir Moin, director, Sparkling Brand Portfolio, Coca-Cola Pacific; and Shawn Warren, VP, Marketing, Asia Pacific, Kraft Foods.

The APPIES has a unique presentation format totalling 20 minutes per campaign: four minutes for a video on the overall aspects of the campaign, six minutes for the live presentation on the results of the campaign, and 10 minutes for questioning.
